Solar trackers are motorized mounting systems that rotate panels to follow the sun throughout the day. Types: (1) Single-axis tracker — rotates east-west (most common for utility-scale, +15-25% yield); (2) Dual-axis tracker — also tilts north-south (+30-40% yield but much more expensive). Trackers add $0.05-0.10/W to project capex but typically deliver favorable LCOE in high-irradiance regions. Major tracker manufacturers: NEXTracker, Array Technologies, Soltec, Arctech, PVHardware.
